“The US will suffer with Uranus in Gemini”, I said just one day before Trump launched a missile at Iran, risking with war.
Thankfully things didn’t escalate too bad… for now.
Uranus is not yet in Gemini though, but it will be from June 7th. This is an important moment for everyone as the planet of upheaval and revolution spends around 7 years in one sign. But before all my Taurus placements exhale a sigh of relief, keep in mind it will retrograde back to the sign of the bull later this year to make its final visit and then wave goodbye for another 80-ish years.
But for that few months, things will start shifting dramatically. On the sociopolitical level, yes. But also, as Gemini is ruled by airy Mercury, on all levels of communication and inventiveness. And of course, looking at people as individuals, on a personal level. And this is where Gemini placements may shake – I know my Gemini Mars definitely shakes in terror but also, the sign of the twins is rather flexible and thrives in change so maybe Uranus will spare all of my Gemini pals… at least… partially. On the bright side, that transit may feel freeing and liberating since Uranus and Mercury have some things in common and might help each other out. Aaaaand it’s a tremendous change from stubborn Taurus who will try to resist change at all costs. Just watch your hands and drive safe (if you have Gemini placements) – and I say this quite literally as Gemini rules hands and movement, while Uranus is known for accidents.
SATURN AND TAKING RISKS
But before we dive into Uranus, we have to also talk about the rest of the slow-moving planets. Why? Because all of them will be interconnected (which is exceptionally rare) via some flowing aspects, hence they all exchange dialogue and target the same things. Neptune ingressed into Aries in April, Saturn in May, leaving Pisces behind… also, for now. If any Pisces went through a rollercoaster in the last 1-2 years, this may not be over for you as both will still make its final dip into the sign later this year (Saturn from late November to middle of January 2026; Neptune from late October to late January 2026). But for now, Aries is the target: prepare for total of 2-2,5 years of Saturn and 14 years of Neptune (yay, right?).
As I’ve learnt quickly, Saturn in Aries is for the brave ones: it forces courage, especially if you have fire placements natally. If there’s something that you’ve been terrified to do for a long time… this is for you, the now or never aspect, as Aries is the sign of action, boldness and independence while Saturn rules not only the authority but also lessons and maturity. This is why a lot of people born with Saturn in Aries are self-employed, highly individualistic or simply like to live on the edge. But are also often extremely structured – it’s actually a good placements for military folks or those who are in sports.
But what if we mix Saturn and Neptune in Aries? This is a lot more tricky as this aspect is often linked to wars as the influence of Neptune – a planet that ereases boundaries – can mess things up, especially when in angsty martian fire sign.
But, we can also look at it differently, especially if we contrast it with both planets leaving Pisces: in the sign of the fish, it very much talks about infinite imagination but also deception, lies, gaslighting and manipulation. It was supporting all things blurry and you either were the conscious source of that blurriness by using some fishy (pun very much intended) tactics or you fell victim to it. Just think of the rise of the AI since Saturn’s entry into Pisces and how hard is it for many people to tell the difference between what’s real and what’s not. Or how quickly they fell for chat gpt and rely on it like on a true friend.
Now, the AI trend will continue and will start being implemented into other things (because, yes, Gemini=communication + Uranus=revolution), but if we focus on the topic of deception, Saturn and Neptune in Aries is the sobering combo. And I do mean it hyperbolically but would not be surprised to see many Aries folks (or other cardinal signs) literally getting sober. Why is that? Because Aries is ruled by Mars and Mars is not only decisive but it cuts and it pierces. And like I’ve already mentioned, Saturn forces maturity so for the child of the zodiac, this dumps a bucket of cold water right onto its head. Naivety out of the window, time to get it together.
But obviously this influences the collective as well. Saturn in the sign of the ram reinforces people taking things into their own hands, reclaiming their power and being stubborn about it. I said this aspect brings wars and wars can take on various forms… and sometimes, you need to ignite the war to bring change.

JULY 7TH: URANUS GOES INTO GEMINI
And this lines up perfectly with Pluto slowly walking through Aquarius for the next 20 years, which is the classic transit for changes in society. Pluto was in Aquarius during the French Revolution, which is actually a good example of how that transit works: its about people taking over. No kings, no masters.
As you may already see, we have some coherent themes forming here. Now, let’s add Uranus to the mix.
TRUMP AND THE URANUS RETURN OF THE STATES
You know I have to talk about Trump (and will do more in my upcoming article on the fixed stars) because Uranus is strongly influencing his chart and in return, that also takes its tool on the US politics but also, you may know that the chart of the United States actually has Uranus in Gemini. This is why it is linked with wars in the States: Civil War, WW2 and, obviously, the Revolutionary War all took place when Uranus was going through the sign. This is why many astrologers say the US will go into war yet again during the next 7-8 years.
If you’re not familiar with Trumpie’s chart yet, he has his MC at 24° Taurus, Mars at 26° Leo and ascendant at 29° Leo. The last few degrees of Taurus are linked to Algol, which brings aggression. It also rules injuries to the head (and beheadings) and you might remember last year when Uranus went through that degree, he almost lost his life due to attempted terrorist attack. This year, as Uranus is ready to leave Taurus and Mars made a tense square to it, from that very spot in Leo where Trump has his natal Mars and ascendant, we had a series of events linked to the president: from his breakup with his pal Musk, the ICE raids and protests and finally, him launching an attack on Iran.
Mars mixed with Uranus is the classic combo of agression and explosion (you now know why my natal Mars is shaking) and these two met up in Gemini in 1945 during the nuclear bombings in Japan.

JUNE 14TH: NO KINGS PROTEST
The massive protests that took place in the US againts the new immigration politics that Trump is responsible for were very much at the height of that Mars-Uranus square. We start to see the revolution part here on the part of the people who aren’t willing to sit still and do nothing. And keeping in mind Trump’s natal Mars and ascendant, both are on top of the fixed star Regulus, which is the “king” star – Mars, which likes to deny things, really said “no kings” protest.
But it’s only the beginning.
BOB VYLAN AS THE POSTER BOY
I did my best at finding the correct date for Bob Vylan’s lead singer’s birthdate, I really did. I don’t have the exact date, sadly, but we have an estimate and I dare to say it’s enough because even with that estimated chart, things look striking.
So Bobby Vylan was born on the cusp of Mars in… you’ve guessed it… (did you?) Taurus and Gemini.
Now, it’s a bit tricky to pinpoint if his Mars is, in fact in Taurus, or in Gemini. It’s because Mars in Taurus is rather known for great voices as the bull is governed by Venus and it’s associated with throat. It is also often found in the charts of activists because Mars, the planet of war, does awful in Taurus, the sign ruled by peaceful Venus – so basically, it is anti-war. But, because of that, Mars in Taurus can also be lazy and often needs to be pushed to action.
Mars in Gemini, on the other hand, is a LOT more outspoken. It’s the bratty placement with lyrical skills. Add these two together and you get someone who’s not afraid to SPEAK. And it speaks in a way that is cutting and to. the. point.
Both fit the criteria, because both are musically and lyrically-inclined but my vote is for Mars in Gemini. Also, he’s more of a rapper than singer, right? Gemini it is then (now watch me be wrong one day when we get his chart ahahah). Double points for the fact that transiting Mars is already in Virgo, which would made a tense square to placements in early Gemini (can I tell you I was pissed the whole last week, had to constantly bite my tongue? Yea, I feel the guy).
Now, if you haven’t heard, Bob Vylan performed at Glastonbury this past week and during their set, Bobby made a great pro-Palestinian speech that he ended with a “death to the IDF” chant. Unfortunately, given the UK’s politics, it caused a massive uproar and Bob Vylan not only was met with lots of scrutiny from the pro-Israeli side but also they were dropped by their agency and their US visas were revoked (as if the US had anything to say here). And people were TALKING and still are.
Some are saying, well, there were lots of pro-Palestinian moments during the festival, why Bob Vylan? Well, if you’re ever asking “why”, astrology is your answer. Even if his Mars is in Gemini and Uranus has not yet entered the sign, it is still in its very close proximity. And transiting Mars in Virgo added fuel to the fire. We may actually see more of Bob Vylan having their big moments in the future, adding fuel to the fire by being outspoken. And hopefully, inspiring others to do so as well.
It brought attention to the band, which is a very uranian thing – with Uranus, people may start talking about you overnight. But cords were also cut for them – and this is what Uranus (especially paired with Mars) does: massive massive changes, all forms of breakups (I’ve mentioned Trump and Musk but charts of the likes of Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom were also impacted – throwing that in as an example), basically a 180.
On top of that, on the very same day Mercury was opposing Pluto, which very much supported things like that: it’s loud (Leo) communication (Mercury) going againts the grain (opposition) and fighting and challenging the status quo/those at power (Pluto). And because of that, it is also an aspect of disruptions, foul mouth and disputes. And also those at power firing back and censoring things – it’s a two-way battle really with an opposition like this.

JUNE 28TH: BOB VYLAN PERFORMS AT GLASTONBURY
But going back to Uranus, moments like this foreshadow what is about to come. People like Bob Vylan are the symbols of their times but foreshadowing also manifests on a personal level: if things are shaky right now, they will most probably collapse in the next few months. If tension is growing and things start to feel suffocating, something might eventually blow up. Usually I’d say watch your words because no one likes dramas (or, at least, sane people don’t) but with Uranus in Gemini and bold Saturn in Aries – don’t be afraid to stand up for yourself and the oppressed ones. Things should become more clear when it comes to mind, understanding certain things and creativity as well. And most importantly, since Gemini is the sign of knowledge and communication, broaden your horizons and stay curious. Minds will definitely be buzzing.
